PTCS

It is now twelve years ago since CENTORK presented a world-wide novelty, the PTCS (Planetary Torque Control System) which has had very satisfactory results as the Torque mechanical control system applied to Valve actuation.

The PTCS, efficient and accurate, permits a reduction of the power installed, a 40% on average, a reduction of size and weight of the Actuators and allowing higher speeds of actuation.

This is of great advantage where power consumption plays a vital factor (supply via solar panels, in hydraulic and pneumatic actuators, in power plants,....).

Also in applications where the size/weight of the actuators requires the reinforcement of the valve supports. And finally, in emergency shut-down valves, where the valve actuation must be very fast and secure so as not damage the valve.
