TRAGSA has carried out a project for the improvement, standardization and normalization of irrigation systems.
Through this project, the main objective is to obtain a model of global information system, which begins at the different data in the pool until the final hub in the net, which is the irrigator.
An scaled irrigation system has been created, where all the usual elements usually needed in this type of installation are present, giving special emphasis to the use of the telecontrolled equipments.
In this project two pumping stations have been simulated:
In the first station the pool reimlusion has been simulated to: from one pool to the other being this higher up, using two parallel pumps.
In the second station the direct impulsion to the network on demand is simulated: using three pumps, two of them with variable speed motors, and the third one with a soft starter.
In these pumping stations TRAGSA has relied totally on CENTORK electric actuators, not only for the valve actuation but also for the data recollection and transmission.
This particular project can be found in the installations belonging to CSIC (Superior Counsel for Scientific Investigations) in Aula Dei (Zaragoza).
