Petrobras

Centork, awarded with the certification from Petrobras company, has cooperated in the Rio de Janeiro petrochemical site by supplying actuators for double spindle operated floodgates and 54”guillotine valves. All the actuators feature a centronik unit and are ATEX certified.

According to Petrobras, this site is one of the main landmarks in Petrobras history. It is intended as an industrial site where petroleum and first and second generation petrochemicals will be produced.

An oil refinery will be built in the initial stage of the project in order to process 165,000 barrels of oil per day, providing the market with diesel, petrol, aviation fuel, coke, LPG and fuel oil.
